Welcome! I’m Brenna Rose Hughes. I’m an actor, dancer, singer, and teaching artist living and working in NYC.
I found my passion for dance and performing at a young age in the world of classical ballet. Over the years, my performance interests expanded to include choir and musical theatre. However, I never lost my love of dance and continued to grow as a dancer through training at The Cincinnati Ballet’s Otto M. Budig Academy, The Portland Ballet, summer intensives, and as a member of The Portland Ballet's pre-professional youth company. I moved to New York at 18 to attend Marymount Manhattan College. In May 2016, I graduated Cum Laude from MMC with a BFA in Acting and Minor in Musical Theatre. I continued my acting training in The Barrow Group’s Professional Summer Training Program. When not auditioning or performing, I’m teaching dance and theatre in after school programs around the city through Broadway Bound Kids and at Urban Stages Summer Theater Camp. I’ve also volunteered as a dance teacher for Groove With Me, a dance studio in East Harlem that provides free dance classes for girls in Harlem and the South Bronx.
